I'm Kafesha, a first gen Trinidadian American, multi dimensional artist,

with a focus in illustration, design and tattoos. 

I attended the Hartford Art School | University of Hartford and was awarded a full division 1 track & field scholarship. Earning my BFA, I majored in Visual Communication Design with a minor in Photography. After graduation, I went on to work in an advertising, as a post production/graphic designer and then promoted two years later to an Art Director.

After my four year stint in advertising, I then went on to freelance as an illustrator, allowing me to work on my first major independent campaign that was displayed on the streets and metros of NYC. During that time, I always being fond of the roots of tattooing; lead me to the world of tattoos. I took on an apprenticeship, earning my tattoo license which allowed me to gain experience working as a tattoo artist in South Beach Miami.
